I've been training with Alex for a few years now and working with him is one of the highlights of my day! He is just an awesome coach - very knowledgeable, personable, and positive. He is great at explaining complex movements, watching how you move and giving great feedback. I've been able to learn how to rope climb, do double-unders, string toes to bar, and achieve many personal weightlifting records thanks to his insightful cues. As an athlete I've grown so much as an athlete and I am so grateful for his guidance and expertise.

Alex has been coaching me for the past year. I’ve taken group classes as well as personal training sessions with him. Alex has such a positive attitude and he gets you to reach your goals in a fun and encouraging way. I went from doing no pull ups to 6 chin ups. I used to think a Power Clean was just a little more elbow grease when I clean my house but now I’m doing Power Cleans in my workouts. His programming is thoughtful and challenging and he truly cares about his clients. I love that he challenges me and pushes a little extra out of me even when I don’t believe it myself. He also knows how to build a community and I have met friends from his workout groups and also consider him a friend. I highly recommend Alex if you’re just beginning to workout or if you’re looking for a change in your current program.

 

I started working with Alex three times a week as soon as my OBGYN cleared me for exercise. After two C-sections less than two years apart, I came to Alex with pretty extreme diastatis recti, pelvic pain, 30 pounds of excess baby weight, no energy, and low morale. But Alex has been my biggest cheerleader these past two months, helping me to transform my body and recover my health, strength, vitality, and confidence in the process. I can’t believe how much we’ve accomplished together in such a short time of dedicated work—I’m doing things I never thought I’d be capable of like deadlifting significant amounts of weights and weirdly enough, looking forward to meeting all the new challenges he designs for me each week. I still have a long way to go in my recovery but I feel on track to reach my goals with Alex as my personal trainer.

My favorite trainer! Alex is extremely skilled at guiding progression and technique, and designs incredible workouts. He's very motivating which helps staying focused and engaged long term. I started training with Alex a few months ago after a 2 year break from CrossFit. During the break my cardio suffered the most, but it's getting better with every training session. Highly recommend taking his classes

 

Alex was my trainer for a year and a half and I hit so many goals that I didn't even know I was reaching for. I was trying for a chin up for YEARS. Within two months of training, I got my first one! Now I can string 4 in a row. I know that doesn't sound like much but it is! He has a way of making you feel confident and strong enough to go for any movement or higher weight. I have much bigger goals now that I would have never thought possible before training with him.

 

I started working with Alex in early 2021 to help with weight gain and long term health goals. Alex is really good at what he does. He combines nutrition and fitness to accomplish my goals, and makes sure we're following a realistic and healthy timeline. I've had great results working with him and plan to stay with him long term to maintain and grow. After I gained 20 pounds during the pandemic, he helped me lose it through a combination of training sessions and teaching me about my diet. His style is adaptable to client needs (even for those of us who are needier than others), and he makes working out more enjoyable. He helps set smaller goals along the way to get you to your bigger goals in the long term, and happily answers all questions about why and what we're doing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone for any stage of wellness journey.

Alex has been my personal trainer for the past three years, and it's completely changed the way that I approach fitness and think about my health. As a former soccer player, I always loved physical activity and challenges growing up. But after years of social pressure, I started associating going to the gym strictly with the way that I looked instead of the way that I felt. It became a chore that I dreaded.

After working with Alex and gaining an understanding of true health and wellness, I've been able to reintegrate my love of movement into my everyday life. I now look forward to our sessions every week and have noticed a huge difference in my mental and physical wellbeing. Through our workouts, I've been able to gain an unprecedented level of appreciation for what my body can do and hit physical goals that I didn't know were possible for me to achieve. I started working with Alex in October 2021 to get myself back in shape and to shed the weight gained during the pandemic. In the past year, he helped me rebuild my understanding of fitness and nutrition. I appreciate his approach from the beginning to find ways to clearly explain how to perfect proper form and the whys behind what we were doing. Being out of shape and having never worked out before, I was unfamiliar with almost everything about exercising and gym equipment. Alex was very patient and started me with basic exercises for flexibility, strength and balance, and we worked up from there. Alex clearly knows a lot about the muscles of the body and puts that knowledge to good use in selecting exercises. I enjoyed my workouts with Alex and highly recommend him to anyone wanting to get in shape and have fun at the same time.

Alex is one of those trainers who makes you look forward to every session! I’ve been taking his classes for about 6 months and feel like I’m constantly improving and learning new things. His guidance helped me finally understand and feel comfortable doing things that previously felt intimidating, like cleans and double-unders.
